My husband and I have ADHD. Neither of us knew it until recently. We had a reason for procrastinating and being disorganized! I started looking for someone to help us. A phone conversation with Stacy and her credentials made me feel comfortable with her. At our first meeting, she walked through the house to get a feel of our “organizing style”. We talked about what my husband and I wanted to accomplish while working with her. Our main goals were to de-clutter and spend less time cleaning.
We met with Stacy every other week for about 10 months. We were surprised that she never made us get rid of something. Instead she asked us about what was important to keep and how we would like to keep it. She gave us suggestions regarding storage and time management and kept us focused. Between appointments she helped us to determine what we could successfully accomplish on our own and helped us to work through the details of accomplishing our goals. Being accountable helped a lot!
With Stacy’s help, we made a lot of progress but we were afraid of falling back into our old habits. Stacy coached me by phone and helped me realize we had the skills and confidence to stay organized. She also helped me realize things that held me back from accomplishing my goals. It will always be an ongoing process, but we don’t feel overwhelmed anymore. As a result we have more time to do things we want to do, instead of cleaning or trying to find things in the mess!

Stacy Rafalko knows what to do when it comes to organizing a personal living space. Her strategies work along with her words of encouragement. In our first phone conversation she gained my trust with the good questions she asks and how well she listens. She shows up on time with a plan we share. Good news for anyone who feels overwhelmed with the condition of their home, whatever the reason may be. If inviting someone in feels like added stress, consider the following. She's not there to judge you. She is ready to offer her full attention to overcome a battle you want to win. Stacy will be a true ally in working through this process with you, one step at a time to meet your needs whatever they may be.
“Thank you so much for all you do! ...for making yourself available to help, offering your service at a price I personally can justify and afford, for helping me sort my things one by one, listening, caring, your encouragement, delivering my donations, being patient, teaching me new ways to think about things and not forcing me to implement them before I am ready with anger. You are inspiring, have wisdom, are cheerful, kind and a true blessing to me.”
“Did you know you are helping me find patience that is allowing me to not feel overwhelmed? I have more confidence and energy. Did you know I feel more clarity in my daily thoughts and I find it easier to make decisions through my day and am now more consistently happy? I believe God placed you in my life for a good reason. Clear mindedness, sound judgment, cheerfulness, patience are gifts you are enabling me to receive from Him.”

Our youngest child, now 17, desperately needed organizational and housekeeping skills to be ready for college and living on her own. Though we have tried all sorts of things all her life, any ideas or help from us was considered infringing on her personal space or trying to make her like us. We started looking into organizers when she could no longer walk in and out of her room on the floor and was sleeping in a bed boxed in by her desk. I did have the opportunity to interview a few organizers that had good ideas but I felt Stacy had the best grip on how to help someone see how organizing could work for them instead of just being something your parents told you to do. Though our daughter’s “room/schedule” is still a work in progress, she is approaching her senior year with a regular laundry schedule and all her clean clothes put away and the dirties in a laundry basket. We are thrilled.

Stacy is a great home organizer! She comes in to your home and sits down with you to assess the goals that you would like to achieve. Then, in addition to listening carefully to your ideas, she comes up with some of her own to augment your ideas.... with no pressure to "do things her way"!! She specifically helped me move my home office from the nook in my bedroom to the smaller extra bedroom we have in the house. It included a nicely done layout, recommendations of types of furniture, and websites to browse. Then, when I was ready to make the move, she helped in the move itself, organizing as we went! In fact, I'm typing this note from my home office right now! THANKS STACY!

I cannot say enough good things about my experience working with Stacy Rafalko! At the time, two of our children had moved to their own homes, and three were still living with us. The two who had left also left a LOT of their things in our basement! The three who were home had toys spilling out all over the house. My husband and I had boxes that we had brought from our previous homes that we had never unpacked - we couldn't even be sure what was in them! Our basement had a habit of having water leaks from time to time, so the boxes kept being shuffled around from place to place, to avoid the water. To top it off, my husband is a "collector" who never utters the phrase "let's get rid of it"!!! I was out of my mind with the sheer amount of STUFF that had accumulated in our home! Every room had something stacked somewhere, waiting to be sorted or put away. I was overwhelmed.
I finally realized that I was NEVER going to get moving and make any headway without some help. I was actually excited and hopeful when Stacy and I spoke on the phone and set up our first appointment - that is, until that morning arrived! How would I deal with the embarrassment of having her see the mess we were living in? What would she think of me? My home had never been this out of control before, and now I was asking someone to come over specifically to see how bad it was!!! To this day this is my favorite thing to say about Stacy: NOTHING phases her!!! As we moved from room to room her expression never changed – she was attentive, but completely neutral! No shock, no disgust, no dismay registered on her face. She took notes and then we sat down to talk about what I hoped we could accomplish. I couldn't believe how comfortable I was with her, even as she was seeing my MOST embarrassing situation!
Every week, we met to work - and week by week, we actually transformed our home! Once we started, the work went quickly, as we found homes for some items, discarded others, and packed still others for donation. Then Stacy took the donations with her!!! Every week I could see progress, and what a difference she made. Working alone I would get overwhelmed, or just quit and go do something else. Working with Stacy, she helped me keep going, and we used our time well . . .she knew just how to keep things moving along.
Starting with Stacy's unflappable manner, to her organizational know-how, to her skills to talk through the decision-making process when I would get stuck, to her amazing ability to encourage me to focus on my goal of an orderly, enjoyable home, we were able to accomplish what I had thought was impossible! If you have struggled with getting your home into order, guarantee that you won't regret working with Stacy -she is amazing!

I am so grateful for the time you’ve spent with me recently. With our family of 5, our home has felt very small and that we’ve just not had space for everything that we need. Through you I’ve realized that it’s not the size of your space that really matters, but the organization of it. Since we’ve reorganized my kitchen, I’ve realized that I don’t re-buy items that I don’t need and I’m able to keep in stock the items that we use frequently. I now know where everything is and there is now ample storage room to allow me to stock up on items that are on sale.
The other area of my life that needed help was the paper flow in our home. We have 3 daughters and I desperately needed help with paperwork. I was missing due dates for events and things were just falling through the cracks. By setting up the “tickler file”, I now have a place for all those notices and feel so much more confident about knowing what has to get done.
As wonderful as this has been, the most rewarding improvement is with my youngest daughter and her Sunday School prayer journal. Before the reorganization, those papers would come home on Sunday and usually end up in the garbage by Tuesday. Now, I take the journal and put it in the tickler file so we remember to do it on Saturday. It’s a small thing that has put a huge smile on her face. She looks forward to Saturdays and working on her journal.
Thank you again for your time and talent. You are a joy to be with and have truly inspired me to get rid of clutter and manage my home in a more efficient way.

I have been VERY happy since I spent the afternoon with you. I actually LOVE coming in my office to work. Remember, I said I only like to work in hotel rooms? That’s cause I would only bring the one project I was working on, and there would be no clutter. Now my beautiful office is as clean as a hotel! I’m working within the systems well and keeping up with it.
